Kiara Alvarez, PhD is a licensed psychologist, Research Scientist in the Disparities Research Unit in the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Her research and clinical work focus on addressing child and adolescent behavioral health disparities, with an emphasis on Latinx and immigrant youth mental health, suicide prevention, and family and community-level interventions.
