Dr. Curtis McMillen’s recently funded NIMH project titled “Develop/Test a Web-Based Dissemination Tool (WDT) to Support Quality Implementation of Community-Based Mental Health EBIs for Youth” looks to create a highly innovative, web-based tool of community-based behavioral interventions that is applicable to a wide array of evidence based interventions.
This project provides a unique collaboration between the 3-C ISD, the Center for Mental Health Services Research and the Missouri Department of Mental Health. The particular focus of the project is on community-based behavioral interventions for child and adolescent mental health. During the first phase of this project, a prototype will be created with help from the Advisory Board designated to this project. In addition, the prototype will be given to stakeholders to test for the feasibility, usability and value of the web-based tool. The final step will be to prepare for Phase II of the project in which the implementation of the web-based tool will be assessed.
